Rathyatra Activity
For Indians, especially those who follow Hinduism, Rathyatra is a very important festival. The popularity of the festival can be gauged from the fact that people from all across the globe arrive in Puri to have a glimpse of it. No matter which part of the world they are based in, the devotees of Lord Jagannath make it a point to reach Puri and seek His blessings during this festival.
Florescent Public School organised activities for the students of the school for them to be able to enjoy the festival. The students of nursery were provided with a cut-out of Lord Jagannath. They were elated with joy when they were asked to decorate the cutout and make it pretty to their imagination. Bright colourful leaves were used to decorate it. The students of class 1 to class 5 were participating in the colouring competition organised by the school. A beautiful potrait of Lord’ Rathyatra and the imagination and creativity of the students ran wild across that piece of the paper. A competitive spirit with a backdrop of fun made a completely desired environment for a festival to be celebrated.
