MahaShivratri Activity
Mahashivratri is a Hindu festival celebrated to honor Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities of Hinduism. While coloring a Shivji drawing is a fun activity for children, it’s important to educate them about the significance of the festival and its traditions.
Florescent Public school organised a colouring activity for the students of Pre-Primary and of class 1 to 5. The school organized a coloring activity where children were provided with a black and white drawing of Lord Shiva, and they used different colors to fill in the details of the picture. While they were coloring, teachers explained to them the significance of Mahashivratri and the importance of Lord Shiva in Hindu religion. The students were taught to emphasize the importance of respecting different cultures and religions, and encourage them to ask questions and learn more about the traditions and beliefs of different communities.
Florescent Public School hopes activities such as these would encourage the students and educate them in becoming a more informed citizens.
