Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most prominent festivals of India. People of India await a whole year for this week long festivity eagerly. Although it is celebrated all over the country, in the state of Maharashtra it is celebrated with the most enthusiasm.

Florescent Public School organised an activity for the students of Pre-primary and class 7 and class 8 in order to educate them more on their culture and religion. Ganesh chaturthi is known for having pictures and idols of ganeshji in every house, following the essence, Students of pre-primary sticked pulses on Lord Ganesh’s drawing. This created a beautiful 3 dimesnsional effect and looked very appealing. For the students of higher grade, class 7 and class 8. They participated by using a stick-ons to complete the picture of Lord Ganesh. It was like solving a puzzle and piecing the correct parts into the paper. This kept the students very engrossed and helped them gain more focus on the culture and activities behind it.

Florescent Public School hopes activities like these keep the students more engrossed and inclusive into their cultural roots and may this Ganesh Chaturthi bring joy and happiness to all.
