Avratri Celebration
જય આદ્યા શક્તિ, મા જય આદ્યા શક્તિ,
અખંડ બ્રહ્માંડ દીપાવ્યા, પડવે પ્રગટ્યા મા,
ઓમ જય હો જય હો મા જગદંબે.
The kids were adorned in sparkly dresses, the girls in long colourful skirts with mirrors and shiny threads forming various patterns. Whereas the boys dressed into bright kurtas and headed to the school campus grounds. You hear the faint music and the drum beats for the garba as you head in the campus.
Florescent Public School organised a garba night for the students of the school from Pre-primary to Grade 12. All the Students, Faculty and Staff Members were invited to the event, in which students of all grades participated with great enthusiasm. The celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Navdurga and seeking blessings to protect everyone from evil. The event started at 5:30 with the puja to Maa Durga. The campus grounds were bright from the lights and the elated spirits of the students. They danced in circles on the beats of drums. You could see the happiness and the fun they were experiencing.
Florescent Public School wishes all its students , teachers and their families a very happy Navratri and hopes everyone has great fun at Garba.
