“Voting: A civic duty.”
The representatives elected to Central Parliament make decisions that affect many aspects of Indian citizens life including tax, economy , the environment, trade and immigration. Your vote may not directly elect the Prime Minister , but if your vote joins enough others in your voting district or county, your vote undoubtedly matters when it comes to electoral results.
Florescent Public School organised a Vaktrutva Spardha, an essay writing and a slogan writing competition for the students of standard 9 to 12 touching the essence of the importance of voting in the worlds largest democracy. Students enthusiastically participated in this to present their viewpoint on how the world works and how they view importance of voting to be. Competition such as these is the art of public speaking that gives the students self-boost and confidence to speak in front of a large audience. It enables children to create a connect with the audience who is listening to them through voice modulation. Moreover essay writing and slogans help their creativity in writing down what they cannot express in speech. The students expressed how 1 vote could actually change the world for the better, and if we’re in a competitive race the chances are high enough that we should think hard about hitting the voting booth.
Florescent Public School wishes all the students enjoyed and educated themselves at competitions such as these and get the most out of their peers.
